I do not believe 1g Turbo (GT) tranny gears work in a G series. So if you can simply state you are looking for gears for a 1G Turbo GT H type trans everything will be clear.

I have recently viewed a H type 5th gear and it wont go on a G type tranny.

You need to narrow the scope. Talk to mfactory find out a package they are willing to offer and the minimum number of buyers required. For something like this you might want to advertise on mx6, mx3 and other shared tranny car's forums as well.

I personally would be interested in anything that has syncros, but won't sheer off like third gear has done to me twice with a NA KLZE.

          AH, 1st gen only. Damnit.
Now, if this was a feeler for LSDs, I'd be interested (and chances are you'd be able to get bulk pricing for both trans types).

2nd gen and I'd be in. There is way more interest in 2nd gen stuff it seems.... Maybe I'll have to talk to MFactory.

Well since no 1st gen guys are really interested I'll ask them for the 2nd gen trans.
So you said 2nd gen trans is G type?

I would be interested in seeing the prices and perhaps if they were willing to make gears too (at least 3rd).

I think we could probably get them to make g series gears since protege's use those gears too.. They would probably be a more affordable option over the PAR's.

Well since everyone is interested in G type I'll message than back and see what I can do.
In the mean time can anyone who is a member on other sites start a feeler for this.
Cause if we can get a few sites involved than we could probably get this ball rollin pretty good.
Thankx again for correcting me on my info!

PAR is Precision Automation & Robotics in Australia. They make gears for the G-series box in straight or helical cut, with single or double synchros, or dog engagement.

par-engineering dot com for the site.

http://forums.probetalk.com/showthread.php?t=1701275006 - for pics of what they do for us.

MFactory is still offering the 28-spline g-series helical LSD - I know some of yee thought the Protege BB was the only run. The part # is MF-TRS-05G28 and the price is about $670, which iirc is now cheaper than what the BB price was. Teammfactory dot com.

I spoke with Stephen at MFactory a few months ago about doing gears for our transmissions. Minimum 10 sets is required. That ended the conversation for me looking at the willingness of KL owners to spend 4 figure dollar amounts on anything.

I also asked about doing a 5th gear delete cuff like the honda guys use which would keep the shafts from separating and prevent a lot of the tranny blowing situations and substantially increase the life of stock gear transmissions. Pricing on these is very reasonable (around $200 for the honda units) but you have to delete fifth gear and the min order on those is 30 pieces.
