Yea, doesn't matter to me.. just wanted them to know it wasn't .040 off the crank itself.. whichever way it was.

Do they use SBF wrist pins or are they bushed down in size?

Not sure what exactly you are asking?? They use a full floating wrist pin, with 1 spiral lock per side!

          EDIT
Re-read your post, im pretty sure they use the SBF wrist pins, they didnt have to be machined down, as wiesco made the pistons to fit the wrist pin!

std. sbf pin is .912 while most aftermarkets are .927

I was curious how the pin size is compensated since the KL03 uses a .7865 and the miller cycle uses .826 pin. Just if the sbf rod is bushed down to one of the mazda pin sizes, or if the pistons have a larger pin diameter to accomodate one of the american pin sizes. Also, what brand are the pistons? This is pretty neat and informative since not many people have the kit.

I will go out tonight and measure the pin with a caliper, as long as i can get it in there without having to take the piston/rod apart.

The pistons are wiesco 8.7:1 c/r.
