Hey what up everyone I just wanna ask some tips from Ppl who has had a klze on their probe
So I got a klze on my 93 probe gt currently I only have a cold air intake and chipped ecu, and I wanna know what are some good tips to tune it, it's pretty fast but sum how I feel it's not at its full potencial, the reason I say this is because it feels kinda slow on low rpms, like its kinda slow in reaction, I had a 94 probe gt before this one with the regular klde and that one felt kinda faster on reactions, anyone have any advice? ? It would be great appreciated

    Get a factory service manual.

    Correctly, set your TPS.
    Address any engine codes.
Use a quality engine oil, and change it at regular intervals.
    Check for vacuum leaks.
    Verify your VRIS operates correctly.

    That is the short list.

I usually use the platinum full synthetic 10-30 oil
What position it's the tps suppose to be at?
Also how do you check if the vris are working correctly, ?
Sometimes the CEL comes on but when I try to pull the codes it won't throw any codes, the light just turns off than on and it stays on

I use 5-30. I recommend doing the MAF swap. That will match up the VRIS better to ZE intakes and give you more power up top, possibly down low. Then you can use a bluetooth scanner to check codes and adjust the TPS, disty, idle. It may tell you what the CEL is about. There is a paper test to check VRIS around here somewhere. Maybe a ported KLG4 intake would help bring the power down where you want it.

I thought a MAF swap could only be done on OBD II?

You'd need to do the OBDI-OBDII Maf swap, which is what I have. Then you can use OBDII scan tools. Is it necessary? It's about as necessary as a ZE swap, or any other mod. It makes your car better, doesn't cost a whole lot. I recently swapped back and forth a few times between Maf and Vaf. There is a noticeable difference in power. In my case some of it may be 95 DE ecu vris points vs. Millenia vris points on a straight neck intake. My car also seems to use less fuel with the swap.
You have a chipped ecu? Does that mean you have the correct vris points for your intake? Which intake do you have?

Kl47 Maf I believe. It's all in a Millenia 96 and up I believe. Yes, you'll need the ecu, KLG8, and KLL6 are ones I know work, I'm sure there are others. Grab the IAT too, and don't forget the pigtails for both. I cut up a spare Vaf I had just for the plug to make mine plug and play, and fabbed up a short little harness for the IAT and MAF with an extra wire for the 12 volts (key on.) Buy the ecu harness, not worth the headache. Or buy the whole set, I know I've seen people selling pretty much everything you need.
