I may have to back out of this one.....the cams I had set aside from a "supposed" running engine....."just in pieces in a box" appears to have wiped journals......I was looking over other stuff, and the cam journals are fairly scored, and the block has a crack in it (from another source....a friend from whom I got this parts engine from)
I will take my cams to a local machine shop to see IF they can be polished out....but I can really feel the score marks with a dental pick....so I dunno if they can be saved.
good thing I didn't pay anything for this "box of engine parts"
There may be some other members here who have some klde cams laying around they would sell you at a good price.. I wouldnt give up yet lol.. But on another note, everyone participating in the bb please be sure to get your cams sent out soon so they make it in time..
If I understand this correctly there is only one cut of tri flows... and I'm assuming if this is true they're for N/A engines, ya?
EDIT:
^^
Yeah actually the first post is kind of confusing. I want tri flows for a N/A engine, 210s if I have the choice. Does it say that I can choose between 210s and 218s? Or does it say that the first intake lobe to hit is 210 and the 2nd is 218?

You should give colt cams a call first thing in the morning to discuss what your power goals are and what you should get so your clear on everything and so you get what you are wanting.. after you talk to them get back with me on here so I can get you on the list. Thanks
Yes. It will save you on shipping and make it easier to package. Also they might not have enough clearance on the machine to have the camgear still on. Just remove them would be simplest. However I'm sure they receive camshafts with the gears still on regularly and would have the tools to remove them if needed.

Leave the gears on the camshafts you do not need to remove them colt cams doesn't need to remove the gears to grind the cams. Leave the gears on the cams!
Oh hell yes to the later date!! Tax returns and sexy new cams! ;D
There is no guarantee that I can get this set up for you guys for a later date. I have spoke with colt cams and they have approved however I am still awaiting answer from stacey the pt owner on approval. Ill keep you guys updated
I just got all the cams and my tax return. As long as I ship them everything, there shouldn't be a problem with them still doing my order, right?

It shouldn't be a problem but just give colt cams a call and ask them to make sure. On the last bb fedex screwed my paperwork up and the cams got sent back to me. There was one day left before the deadline was up so I just shipped them overnight through the post office.
