    I always said if I was a billionaire I'd keep my Probe ... along with the many other cars that'd be in my super-huge garage.

      I Always Say...

      ...that I'll be buried in my PGT and my family tells me not to talk like that. But I will never give mine up no matter what. Too bad we as a club can't buy up all the junked Probes and store 'em somewhere for parts and project cars. Not practical, even though we're gonna need 'em someday.

        Is that Probes all around the world or just USA??

        I've sent 3 Probes to the junk yard

        The current # of Probes must be 25% lower maybe?

          The Probe was my first car that I bought and financed. I refuse to give it up. I've been through WAY too much to do so.

          I plan on keeping it and driving it until its completly rusted away! And even then I may rebuild it!

            Great find Pat!

            I visited a website way back on January 20, 2001 that had Probe sales figures, which would not be the same thing as the Probe production numbers, so I figured that I would share. I have tried many times to find the website again but with no luck

                I want to know how many GTS's there were.

                There are so little 97s to begin with, then weed out the Base/se, then regular GT...

                    Somebody was asking how much his MX6 was worth if he sold it. But it was a 93 MX6 LS anniversary edition and it was Laguna Blue.
                    Previously: 93 PGT Turbo...you know, back when you had to build the setup yourself.

                            The 'Great Hall' in the assembly plant has one of every car we've ever built along with the dates built and production numbers. I'm at work right now and will send the numbers as we see them here. This'll be a good comparison with the library #'s!

                            This plant loafed along at 1/2 capacity (~120,000-150,000 cars/yr) for most of its life. Now, with the Mustang and 6, we're pushing for more than 300,000/yr.

                            This just in:

                            Here are the numbers off the wall of the Great Hall in Flat Rock:

                            First cycle MX6: 9/87->12/91 138,213 units

                            First cycle Probe: 1/88->12/91 464,119 units

                            First cycle 626: 9/89->12/91 135,965 units

                            Second cycle MX6: 2/92->5/97 110,429 units

                            Second cycle Probe: 4/92->6/97 381,083 units

                            Second cycle 626: 3/92->6/97 481,152 units

                            No numbers listed for the Cougar, we block that 'car' out of our memories and erased it from the history book.

                            All together:

                            845,202 Probes

                            248,642 MX6's

                            617,117 626's
