The 93 has a separate coolant temperature sensor which controls the fans. It is located next to the coolant filler cap, beside the oil dipstick. If it's bad, or disconnected, it gives code 69. Check and clean the connection. If you still get 69, replace the sensor. I strongly recommend going to a Mazda dealer to get a new sensor. Tell them you have a 93 MX6 LS, and make sure they know it's the fan sensor, not the main coolant temperature sensor. A lot of people get the wrong part. To replace it, let the engine cool, no need to drain radiator (you will only lose a cupfull of coolant max), unscrew old sensor, screw in new sensor, and reconnect. A large spark plug socket fits (sloppily), and saves you buying a long socket.

Can't help with the OD light.

Also if it has had an engine swap with a 94+ motor it will throw this code as the '93 ECU will look for the sensor input (mentioned above) and not get any. It turns on both fans as a failsafe.
