Whoaaaah! Finally I can make my own chapter in this book of history.

It's an -93 MX-6 V6 LS. The system is custom job - not a kit. The turbo is located under the battery, in very similar place as in Darin's PGT. The crossmember needed to be modified for exhaust pipe from turbo but the battery was able to maintain it's position. Also the front engine mount frame needed some modifying to make room for the collector pipe. Also needed to make braces and search for another radiator overflow unit. I used an Mazda 323F -90 rad. overflow tank. Got this free from your backyard.

Turbo: Garrett T3 from Nissan ZX300 single turbo. It has watercooled center section. The A/R : .48 cold side / .64 exhaust side. It was used unit. Got it for around $200 from a local turbo enthusiast. It has integral wastegate set to around 8 psi I believe. (According to my boost gauge).

Piping: from stock exhaust manifolds to collector pipe where the two pipes merges 1 3/4". After the pipes go in one pipe it's 2 1/4" all the way to the turbo. From turbo it's 2.5" to the "cat". After that I still have that 2 1/4" pipe in there. Yeah I do know it's too small but I like the super quiet sound of it. The oil drain line is almost 1" pipe to the oil pan. Better be sure on this, aye. Cost of piping yet to determined, but is around $150 so far including the little money for my mate who worked with me on the pipes.

Intercooler: It's an used unit from Saab 9-5 Tdi. The end tanks of it has been modified for different angle of the pressure pipe. This is not yet installed. But the room has been made for it by cutting some slices of the bumper frame. This was free sample from our backyard.

BOV: I got this nice anodized purple aluminium Revotec unit from a local performance shop for around $45. Also got a nice aluminium T for the BOV to the intake pipe for $15.

FMU: I opted for more tuning possibilities so I got myself an Vortech Super FMU from www.Summitracing.com . Not the cheapest one but I think the tuneable features will make it up.

Fuel Pump: Walbro In-Tank 255lph unit. It's the "regular" pressure unit, not the high pressure one. Got this for around $95 from www.autoperformanceengineering.com . (Nice guy to deal with.)

Gauges: Autometer Ultra-Lite series boost/vacuum, EGT, electric fuel pressure and A/F gauges mounted in center console. Got these from Summit at their price. Which by the way seems lower than some ppl are paying on these from E-bay! At least on that boost gauge.

MBC: Some cheap-***$ manual boost controller from local store. You know the tape that you need to turn the screw to adjust the boost. Not installed yet.

Transmission mods: Clutchmasters Stage III clutch and Fidanza billet aluminium flywheel from rafi @ www.rr-racing.com . Top place to make business!!!

Air-filter: Pipercross foam cone air filter, located in the left pocket on front bumper. Yeah that's the place where the radiator overflow can is.

      Injectors: Those very stock injectors.

Power rating: Not dynoed yet but feels good

Hmmm... Did I forget something? I dunno. I'll update this if I can think of something more. I hope this helps someone.

Oh yeah, of course, the pics can be seen here:

I's actully never been dyno'd ever since it has been turbocharged. I used to make a happit of making a road trip every year for a dyno meet but somehow stopped 2 years ago... I told myself I was going to dyno it last year but never did.
This year I guess. I also never made it to the track either but did manage to beat an automatic Corvette (friends car) up to about 70mph when he pulled right past me. That was before the T3super60 and the 3" exhaust. I should have a bit more top end now...
Like I said,,, we'll see this year.
If anyone would like to set-up a Turbocharged/suprcharger meet someplace I'd be sure to go. maby dyno, then hit the track!
