questions about xtc cold air intake

hi i'm thinking about buying the xtc cold air intake since the hose techniques couplers will match my hose techniques vac hoses, but i have a couple questions:

1. the website says "This kit comes with 3" K&N style chrome airfilter." what is the actual brand of air filter you use?

2. does it just kinda hang there like all the ebay cais, or does yours come with some kind of mounting brackets?

3. if no to #2, what makes the xtc CAI better than the cheap ebay versions?

the ebay version will be your best bet for the money compared to the others.. back when i was NA i used the ebay CAI and it worked fine.. hope that helps
