  • The newest Addition to the family...

so my brother was looking for a probe... something not to expensive he could wrench on and an extremely kool guy from probetalk came through and hooked my brother up thanks man.. hope you like what weve done so far ^_^

well... most of you will recognize this extremely well built piece of machinery but weve done some fixing up so i might as well shut my trap and post the pictures lol

Her going up on the lift the day after we got her... didnt realize the starter was that hard to get to on a 1g.. still fun times though.

side shots to show the fixes althought its hard to tell that is was damaged. within the next couple months my brother says he is gunna get that lower damaged fixed or a body kit who knows..

ok and i couldnt help it.. some photoshoot of mine and his..

i lectured the crap out of him on the ride up there... then when we got back home.... hes 7 years older then me but didnt say i peep while i was lecturing him... and if he ever decides he doesnt want it anymore.. i get it... im so jealous... i plan on whooping his butt if he does anything stupid...

as for him making it to a meet.. his new job kinda makes it hard ( driving a semi ) but the good news is the car might make it to some meets as i get to be the caregiver for it.. i made him promise to make it to Twist-o-rama Mustangs at the Queen mary and fabulous fords and to work his schedule around them
wow i can ramble when im excited

                pretty clean looking

what makes it an "extremely well built piece of machinery" is there more to it then just being a gl.

guess I don;t knows much about todd's old car. is it boosted?

it is very clean though, nicest 1st gen I've seen in awhile.

Yeah, I had to let the PGL go.

But, I feel that I've found a very good home for her since Dan and Josh are very enthusiastic about owning the car and I look forward to what they will/may do with her. I'm sure the PGL will be kept in great order!

There isn't anything particularly "phenominal" about the PGL other than that I've taken exceptionally good care of the car since day one when my Mother bought the car in January of 1990 and I bought it from her in October of 1995. Before the PGL was crashed into by a Benz S500, most people couldn't believe the car was a 1990 - typically, they thought it was at OLDEST a 1997.

Sorry, Dan. Marriage hasn't changed me but my current living arrangements make it really hard to have a 2nd vehicle. And really, I made the decision after the accident since I had just invested 3x what the vehicle was worth before the accident from the new engine and other parts needed. The accident just made up my mind because I didn't want to spend any more money on the car - and I really couldn't since my new wifey and I paid for our own marriage.

Anyways, I know the new owner(s) will enjoy the vehicle and I'm glad that the PGL went to a good home instead of the junkyard.

The wheels are 16" Konig Wildcards.

Unfortunately, these wheels have been out of production for a few years now. I have seen a few other brands with similar wheels.
