        If the cams come to you this week , and so does the money order ? Can you have it shipped out b/4 you leave ??

                  Ok,
                  Here's a few good questions.

                  If I have a ze with the basic bolt ons, and then install your ZE cams regrind, what kind of power difference will be seen, and where will the peak be moved to in terms of rpms.

                  Also, can I send a set of 03 cams to be ground into the ze regrind? Or do they need to start out as ZE's?

                    Yeah i kinda have the same question. I have the ZE and i still have my 03. Can i just send you the 03 cams or do i need to send you the ZE cams. I also don't think that my 03 cams are in good shape. So i just need to know if you need the ZE ones. Let me know.

                      would love to get cams but im replacing this hole engine.... so i think i heard some one say they were looking for some used cams ,,,,,,,,well pm me i have like 2 sets sitting around. sorry i know its the wrong place for this but im helping. and COLT CAMS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                      you can bore that engine all you want to get more displacement but your HP and TQ come really from the cams!!!

                        These will be about $475US. I can use your stock 03 cams or your ZE cams, this is not a problem for the regrind.

                        Make sure that you have ZE heads. ZE heads have larger HLA on the intake side.

                          I have no problem in using either 03 cam or ZE cams to make the regrind for ZE heads (intake HLA is larger than exhaust HLA).

                          If you have a ZE intake manifold(IM), I suggest you have the VRIS points programmed to the ZE VRIS points(3900,4800,6800rpms). I'm stressing this because all regrinded cams with more duration than the ZE cams will make peak power above 6500 rpms. If you are using the 03 vris points, you won't see the gains between 6200 and 6800rpms. 03 VRIS points are (3250.4250, 6250), and at 6250rpms the VRIS close.

                          You need your VRIS to be open after 4800rpms 'til 6800rpms and not 'til 6250rpms to see results from the cams.

                            Well I had my ze cams out today because from Noyan USA they were all rusty. Now that I know how to change cams I'm more interested in this. $475 is a little steep still for me to afford. THanks for the info.

                              The rust be only be external. Remove the cams and rub them with a cloth, if you're able to remove all the rust and don't see any rust pits, then the cams are probably OK.

                                I sanded it off, they are not pitted at all now.
