  • New coil-over bulk buy available to us now.(Feeler)

    --Approved by Stacey B.

    Information:
Ok, here's the deal guys. We now have the opportunity to get awesome coilovers for a fraction of the cost for other big brand coilovers, in the ballpark of 700-800 to your door.(Sorry, I cannot give you the actual price, per BB feeler thread rules.)
These are top of the line NEX racing suspension sets. They will be specifically manufactured for the 1993-1997 Ford Probe SE/GT-MX6, and are fully adjustable ride height and damper. These will be offered in a base color of gold anodized with a forged aluminum shock body, and the highest quality steel springs. These babies come with a 1 yr. manufacturer’s warranty. The spring rate will be decided by us (whichever rate is most popular or most common.) You can raise and lower it and still keep the same spring compression and shock travel.
The set will take 8 to 10 weeks from receipt of payment to delivery to complete.
This feeler will run for one week, to see how much interest there will be in these.
In order for this bulk buy to work out, we will need at least 20 people to commit to this.
We will also find when is the best time to run the actual bulk buy.
If it works out for everybody, we could run the actual bulk buy around tax returns.
If you have any questions, please post in this thread.
I will put up a list of the people who will be committing as I receive notice that they are interested.

I cannot give out the exact price as of yet(as per rules, once I run the actual BB you will know), but I can tell you it will be between $700-800 to your door.

Read carefully, you would see that they are not made for us yet. Hence why this is a feeler. My only question is will they be pre-tuned on a actuall probe/mx6 before going into production?

The pics are from a different vehicle. They still have to be produced for the probe yet.
Here is a shot of an Acura TL dropped on these coilovers...

As for quality, they seem to have good reviews from some of the rally racing guys I talk to who use these...

These will be made, and tested on theyr dyno. And the spring rate will be chosen by us as a majority. Which ever rate is most wanted, will be the one we get.

Here is another up close picture of a coil-over for those who want a closer look at these...

They look good to me. I need some new struts for my PGT around tax time would be great. You can pencil me in on them. If you can do it then.

I too would love a set, Do you have a Guess as to when a BB could happen? After I pay for books next semester i should have more than enough to pay for them. And considering the Protege ones on eBay are like $740, it's a good deal for a new product.

"Manufactured specifically for the Probe & MX-6"..........just curious what exactly does that mean? Are the struts engineered for the Probe, or is it generic valving used on other cars, on a Probe specific housing, with custom spring rates?

These are being made just for the probe/mx6. No these will not be generic valving on a probe specific housing.
I think these are an awsome deal for people who want/need coilovers, but don't have the cash to spend on the others.
Like I said this BB can be done aqt around tax season, but if I can get enough people to want them right now, we could do it now.

Anyone else want on the list?
I know there are more people who want these.
