NOTE: CENTER GEARS DO NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED. PLEASE WRAP THEM WELL TO ADVOID BREAKAGE.

Important important important! Please read the original post very carefully! Depending on how you send your cams you may need to send to a different address! There are two addresses listed above. Pay very close attention to that as well as how they prefer their money orders! All money orders must be international money orders made out to colt cams in us funds! Package your camshafts very carefully and inspect for any damage before sending to colt cams! I know there is a very limited time before the camshafts are due to be delivered, therefor i will request another bulk buy in the early part of next year if there is enough interest. With that being said, who all wants in on this bulk buy?

There is no bs about it. Call colt cams and verify it for yourself by the owner if you'd like. There has been plenty of talk about it. For those of you who have already sent your cams that is fine thank you. I am going to keep a list in this thread for all PT members who are participating in the bulk buy just like I did before.

Anyone know the details of the Tri-Flow cam grind?

From what I have seen on their site, the regular grinds increase the upper rpm power band but they can negatively affect the low end power range.

And the tri-flow helps avoid the lose of power in the lower rpm range while still supplying the increase in the upper rpm power range

Is that right?

Would they be good for turbo, or should I just get the turbo grinds?

My concern is I don't want to sacrifice/lose low end rpm power in order to gain upper rpm.

Yes, the triflow setup is a good cam, my roomie has his mx6 with a set.

You can get the tri flow cams for turbo. Its called the tri flow turbo grind. It should be 475.00

No -I was trying to remove the cam gears and was unable to do so. I would rather ship without gears but I may just have to ship them Monday with gears -unless someone has a good "How-To" on how to remove the gears without breaking cams?

Ive never removed the gears from the cams before because i didnt figure it would be worth the time vs an extra 10 bucks or so to ship. I could be wrong though. Im sure geoff at colt would know a good way if you want to call him tomorrow morning to talk to him. The only real issue at hand here is the short amount of time we have to have them delivered to colt cams, the time of the year the bb was decided at, and the fact that a lot of people are shipping stuff this time of the year and that ALWAYS slows the shipping systems down. We all remember the nightmares fedex and ups caused a year or two ago. Id hate to see that happen here. I dont want to rush anyone but I do feel the sooner the cams can be shipped to colt the better. Just to avoid any issues. Its your call though. By the way I got the parts, thank you very much. I am still on the hunt for the parts you need btw.
