yeah I know, not a very exciting title. sorry. But this kid at school recently bought a 2001 civic sedan and thinks its the fastest thing in the world because he put a sts and a intake on it. Hes been talking shit for awhile and wanted to race and i always turned him down because it wasn't worth it to me. But today he was at my house for a gathering so I decided it was time to shut him up. We had originally planned to do a roll from 55 with three honks from me, the camera car. when it was time to race I saw my camera guy counting down and the guy in the civic looking at us so I just went off that. I took off but he didn't, so I slowed, then I saw him punch it so I got back on it. I put about a car length on him by the time we got to 75-80ish so I'm told.

I know it was a bad race so in april we are going to go to the local drag strip and finish this thing. Which is good because by then I'll have a MX-3 fw, southbend stage 1 clutch, and a full exhaust

I couldnt tell when you started to race so it looked like to me you had him by a car? If you can launch your car its a win for you hands down.

The race starts at 20 seconds. We actually did do a race from a dig. But he started rolling before the light turned green and was almost a car length ahead at the start. But by 60 I had two cars on him at least

Not all Hondas are pieces of sh*t...Of course there are some, but there are also many POS Probes. The fact of the matter is that there will always be nice cars of a certain type and garbage cars of a certain type. It just depends on the owner, really.

Honda's are not pieces of sh*t...I've owned 3 and they were some of the best cars I've ever owned. Sure they weren't the fastest things on the face of the earth, but I wanted mine for reliability.
