Random race today.....

So Im heading north up the Berlin Turnpike @ around 10 AM (Most CT guys will tell u about that strip)

I stop @ a light and I have this guy next to me in a BMW 528i, 97-03 body style. I was looking @ the car because the color really caught my eye, then i continue to wait for the light...

Light drops green and this guy rips a tire spinning launch... So he wants to race, I dump the clutch and go for him....

1st gear into 2nd I'm @ his back tire, 3rd gear I'm close to his door, hit 4th and let off because we were already @ 100mph on a VERY cop infested strip thats known for racing...

I get next to him @ another light and he says "What'd you expect? Its a BMW!"

Mind you I have 2 12" subs, a ~120lb tool box, a 3 ton floor jack & jackstands in the trunk.... So had i launched with him I may have pulled on him a bit, had i not had all the weight in the car who knows....

And of course I get the ricer "wave" when he thinks hes dustin me and im @ his door....

I always find races when im not looking for them.

The guy sounds like a real class act. You gotta love arrogant BMW owners that think they're the be all, end all car. Sounds like you definitely would've had him if you weren't checking out his car and napping at the light. That's happened to me before though, where I'm just sitting there not paying attention and some asshat launches on me like we're at a dragstrip...

Some dumb shit in rsx-s gave thumbs down when I was two cars behind him on the freeway, I pulled behind him, and he just floored it, I decided to see if he wants to race in a open spot, so I tagged behind him not even at full throttle while he was maxing out his gears. Then he started cutting cars in traffic with out using turn signals, and tried to run me off the road when I was passing him like it was some F&F. I just waited for next exit and got off. People like that make me mad and end up killing others with their stupid ass driving.

yep i just experienced this the other day on the interstate. Some duchebag had his g/f in the car and wanted to show off his car it was a stock neon with just a body kit on it and he came up on the side and revved and then just took off so i dropped in third and floored it by the time i ran out third i was like a car on him and let off then slowed to be even and floored it again and pulled a car on him and slowed again then stopped with his g/f laughing in the passenger seat he proceeded to leave it buried and totally swerved around like three cars and i was like like amg are you serious i was laughing tho some people never learn

Most BMW owners, well actually most classy/sports oriented sedan/coupe owners, in general are toolsheds. They ALWAYS over exaggerate, and over estimate the power/potential their cars have, and think just because of that little manufacturer badge, that their car is god's gift to the asphalt. Truth being told, that car is a $5000 car, with HIGH maintenance expenses, ridiculously over engineered parts, and wiring nightmares. Awesome

On a sidenote, I LOVE when some collar popping penis wrinkle has his girlfriend in the car, and I get the chance to get next to them. Take for instance, a kid in a like 06 Eclipse GT, that utterly thought he was the fastest thing on the road...well I pulled up next to him in this;

mismatched teal fender, 3 actual BUCKETS of bondo (no exaggeration) down the side of it, 2 steelies on the front, del sol fat 5's on the back (pink). He laughs. His girlfriend isn't even looking over. Well, we catch the green light, and he does some riceboy tire spinning launch...sweet. Well by the time he gets into 2nd, I'm passing his door (in 2nh, with smoke rolling past my windows from boiling the tires off), slam it in third, still blowing the tires off, and put about 10 buslengths on him ha. Next light, he wont even look at me, but his gf did give me the thumbs up. Yeah, douchebag...I just threw rocks all over that car your mommy bought you, while I waxed your ass. Shitty, huh?
