Oh wow, I just came back in and read posts 33 through 44....

Oh, and for whatever it's worth someone (I believe Charles maybe?) stated that the fastest they'd ever seen Phil's car run was a 13.1.

Lol first time i've seen it, my bad.

I was just thinking it'd be nice to see what all the information posted in some of the threads you start ("now running 680s on stock ecu" for example) nets at the strip, that's all.

My car runs a 13.2. Or... it did. 3 years ago.

Also for what it's worth, 1st gens are TERRIBLE quarter mile cars, and i'm really just interested in the trap speed. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Phil's car had never gotten out of the 13s, and if that were true, i would hope nobody would give him flak for it. Mainly because once you've got the power to do it, hooking it up becomes a BIG problem.

I wouldn't fault him for it at all. That's the problem I have... Too much power, too difficult to launch the car. I have MT ET streets, but haven't run them yet. I trap PLENTY high enough to run 10s, but haven't yet because of trouble launching.

^ truth. Im more concerned with trap speed, especially with a street tired fwd.

I'd imagine mid teens. The gearing isn't to great up top on 1g GTs either.

I remember riding in Nick's 1G back in the day (AMD_IS_THE_BEST), and he was trapping 115. I remember that car felt NASTY at the time!

There was an F2T in Australia trapping 122mph i believe...

I trapped in the teens. I don't think i would hit the 120s, though. Not yet, that is.

I only trapped 108 on mine (don't ask, it had a lot left lol!) on 16psi. It did pop the wg line off once and pegged the 30psi boost gauge, THAT felt quick. With Phils setup (6262, MS, e85 and 1000s) his car coyld be wicked but that turbo isnt happy til upper 20s boost wise so if hes in the teens with the boost its not even awake.
