Another Race.. And a funny turnout

So I was driving back from dinner, and saw a little Mazda RX8 come out of no where and come straight up by my side, he than drops back a gear and flys down abit.. So I was by myself and thought well they don't look so tuff and what have I got to loose!? I decided to pursue him I evently got up to him and a red light came... My probes an automatic and I knew there's no way in hell I'm going to give him a decent go off the line even with all the bolt on's on my probe... Light goes green he flys..... I didn't go hard but I caught up to him slowy doing about 70kmh than pass him at 80kmh I knew that at this speed the Probe has a good kick when you stomp on the pedal.. So I herd his renesis rotary downshift and I stomped the pedal on the probe and put the gear back into 2nd to get the KL to redline!! Yessss we were off!! He gained to the side of the door and THE PROBE PULLS! I was hitting about 120kmh on the KL near redline and shifted into D... the Rx8 was struggling!! We kept going ! As the road was straight and dead! I hit about 160kmh and beat it by half a car length!
Either the person driving the Rx8 was an idiot because the specs on them look pretty quick! Or they were just no match for the KL's high speed!

Probes are absoulety a big suprise, I cannot believe how it keeps up and actually pulls against these new cars, if I was driving the 5 speed manual I would only know how fast these Probes are. Wonderful

My probe its not stock, it has full bolt on's as I mentioned...
Didn't video it because it was a street race in the moment, Yup I did beat an RX8.. by half a car length not much... Im pretty sure it was manual because he was revving at the lights and done a crazy launch, I didn't race him off the line guys even I know that's just plain dumb. I passed him slowly and I was about a full car length in front and I herd him rev up so I just smashed the pedal.. yes I did have a head-start buy a car length he caught up with ease but he couldn't pass me? that's why I said either he was an idiot and didn't know how to dive or the Rx8 just had some issues... RX8's are not straight line cars Andy they are track cars... for all I know could of been an Auto because they have paddle shifters if it was the automatic that would explain why I beat it.
