nice sunroof

not sure if this has been posted before or not...but found the following page online and I thought I would share it here. Mostly what caught my attention is the design of the sunroof on the 1st. picture - The way the trim is so perfectly smooth and brand new all the way around. It looks like it's been taken care off...also the trim around the sunroof is totally different than the one on the 2nd picture and the 1st. one seems like its definately WATER proof. That thing is just pretty cool.

p.s. I know some would wish that their sunroofs/sunroof's trims would like the 1st. picture uh?

I was thinking the same thing......but, When you look closely at some of the other photos you can see the track underneath it. I noticed it was a European Probe, any possibility theirs was different?

it's probably aftermarket. the odds of us just finding out now that there was a version released with a sunroof and not a moonroof is pretty hard to believe. we already knew about the headlight and taillight differences.

definitely aftermarket. Can tell just by looking at the size and placement of it. Look up aftermarket moonroofs and you'll see

When you translate -he says he swapped it out for the stock sunroof and was asking people what they thought. Too bad that I can't tell where he got the piece. It is the cleanest that I have seen.

Looks like he said it cost him $600 euros or approximately $800 USD

one of them said they have had theirs installed since 2006. They say they were guaranteed not to leak.

From best I could tell -in 2010 when the thread was current -there were about 3 of them that had the roof installed. I don't imagine that there are a lot of Probes in Spain.
