Got temp plates and waited for insurance to clear me.

Removed the hood and cleaned the shit out of the underneath.

water has been getting inside the car (probably through the sunroof and 1/4 window seals) so i am in the process of sealing it all back up with window sealant.

Fixed the V-band clamp on my "custom" exhaust so that the back portion now sits properly, and it doesn't rattle on the heat shielding in the middle section.

lol she has 245000 miles on her i literally just pulled the whole driveline for gasket replacement and everything being it was just nasty and leaky. also added some more things to it such as ze cams ss headers ac system removal. all in all it is in great shape in side so i didnt do bearings but very happy with the outcome and hope for another 245000 lol.

For any who care, would a oil cooler gasket failure have enough pressure to get the oil pressure sensor wet? Trying to figure which to replace. I think the oil on my filter housing is from the pressure switch but hard to tell.

I have found at least 4 KL engines with cracked oil filter bosses -that were likely caused by someone tightening the oil pressure sender too tightly. They are very easy to crack and once they are -they leak constantly. If you have problems with oil sender leaking -it is much better to use some thread sealant -vs over-tightening. I am not saying you over-tightened it -but the owner before you may have done so. I would clean it thoroughly and look closely for a crack.

P.S. That could also be valve cover drool!

Installed an intake, deleted the resonator and got it safetied.

Now has plates!

Excitement is through the roof!

Tomorrow is a 3 hour drive to Picton for Airsoft. Here's hoping a good long run does it good!
