I got up this morning and got dressed for work (like normal). I have a new shirt I bought and its kind of sheer. Not completely see through, but you can see a silhouette. Since I knew it was vaguely see-through I wore a tank-bra (basically a tank-top) and checked myself in my mirror and it looked fine. I got to work, however, and in the lights here you can see the white fairly easily. Still not see through by any means, since the pattern is fairly wild you don't really notice it. But I notice it, and while I'm not ashamed or embarassed or anything, I still wonder if technically this is appropriate. Its a nice shirt, expensive and is a fairly conservative style, excepting the kind of wild pattern.
My office has a casual-office dress. I usually wear slacks and a nice shirt or a long skirt. Is this bad? Its not trashy looking, and with the tank underneath it doesn't even look like underwear. Why am I obsessing over this? My bosses have never complained about anything I've worn, but maybe they're afraid of saying something. (Its difficult to say stuff like that nowadays).
Maybe I just don't have enough to do here today.
