FRS Radios

Just a good idea for anyone going. If you have an FRS radio, bring it.
I dunno what channel everyone is gonna be on yet but its helpful if your trying to find the place, getting ahold of people, etc..,

I was just thinking.. maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea to start a thread of stuff that people should bring... Im not starting it though because last year i didnt bring anything and ended up getting everything at Wal-Mart.

wal marts got deals for like 20 bucks. not bad but a few people in wispoc will be rolling with CB's cause those radios don't quite have range.

No seriously, can it be ANY 2 way radio, and channel 4 is always the same on all radios? I'm not too familiar with them. I'll buy a pair from Sears right now if someone can tell me.

Any FRS two way radio will work... Just put it on channel 4 and everyone can communicate with eachother. In the thread of things to bring to HH I listed a couple ebay auctions for reference of FRS radios. You can get these things at any Wal-Mart or Radio Shack.
