ok so.... a little homework here....

Amtrak = 23hr 53m non-stop round-trip from RVR to FTL for $211.00
(condition - I've made the trip to Orlando by train before)


JetBlue = 2hr non-stop round-trip from RIC to FLL for $243.00
(condition - I've never flown before)


Looks like this Cruise is going to involve alot of "first's" for me.... time to grow some balls er I mean wings....

Get a waterproof case for your camera and be the only one to take under water shots of the peeps that go scuba diving...

Nah the only thnig with the disposable cameras is they really suck in photo quality underwater, I have a nice underwater digital camera with strobes which I will be taking for the dive. I have been diving since 1993 but that doesnt make me an expert.

wow.. been a while since I've heard that...


So ever since I've learned about the scuba diving that we can do, I've been looking at some of the places here to enrole in class to get my diving cert...

1. That shit is expensive!
2. Advice from the people that teach the class plus people that have taken the class..
a. Get your own wetsuit.. why? because using a suit from the class or a tourist place is like wearing someone elses underwear.. ew!?
b. Get all of your equipment that deals with your head and feet. Example: goggles, mouth piece, fins, and fin socks..

So...

Class ---------------------$230.00 or less
Wetsuit-------------------$129.95
Goggles-------------------$69.95
Fins----------------------$64.95
Fin Socks-----------------$19.95
Mouth piece--------------$26.90

Equipment = $311.70

Class = $230.00 or less..

Total so far... = $541.00 or less.. I know what to ask for for Christmas and my Birthday this year...
