    This thread is for the discussion of hotels for the upcoming Flyrtle 6.0 September 24-26, 2010.

    The address for the dyno day/meet is below. Everyone has agreed to make La Quinta the "official" hotel for this year. It worked out well for everyone who stayed there last year and the price cannot be beat. We have a guaranteed group rate of $48/night which includes a fridge in the room, free internet and breakfast. The La Quinta is walking distance from a Hooters and the Palm Beach Ale House making it very convenient for all the post meet festivities at night.

      Wow, if we could round up a Power Hour in tribute to the Myrtles of old that would be simply amazing.

        It's 39.00 + tax a night . Comes with bed and fridge/microwave. It's about 4 miles from the meet. The price isn't bad at all.

          I found an item that would be great for PowerHour....if Hord were there....

            Not sure where i will be staying yet, alot of people stayed at the La Quinta last year with the american tennis club

                If I'm driving this far I'd rather stay some place reasonably nice than pick just based on price.

                  A lot of people ended up at the La Quinta last year and seemed pretty satisfied with it. If there's enough demand and you guys agree on a couple front runner places I'll go by and talk to management about better rates and try and get a tour of the rooms at each place.

                  Our attendance this year looks large enough to have have some pull with the hotels.

                    I also agree. I just figured the one that everyone decided on would be a good one since most of you guys have already attended this meet. This will be my first to Florida

                      I believe thats where I stayed last time. Its decent room with breakfast and a pool. Was $50 last year and quite a few of us stayed there.

                        The la quinta you stayed at last year was on okeechobee near the turnpike. This is a different la quinta
