Add Megasquirt, but more rpms is not going to give you any more power as that thing peaks at around 5200-5500rpm's and will start to drop power after that, not designed for high rpms.
Send speedracer a pm over on performanceprobe.com he can give you some help for a racer, I believe he is still on the forums over there.

Need a chip or parts for your 1st gen GT go here----->Fordprobeparts.com
correct! however this is a big project!! and will take some knowhow to do. i suggest chipping your stock ecu. i have the probinator chip from performanceprobe.com and it gets rid of your rev limiter, speed cut and allows you to boost to 17 without fuel cut out!
Be careful revvvvving past 6500 rpm!! bad things will happen eventually if you have high miles on a stock motor
white 92 probe GT-.040 over, wisco forged pistons, 8.8 cr, 2.5" frontmount,2.5" intake, 3" catless ss exhaust, megasquirt 3 with ms3x board, 24 psi on a t3/t4 to4e, ethanol injection, ported and polished head, stage 3 four puck clutch.
we have no speed cut. and the chip gets ready of boost cut all together. you can push alot more then 17psi with one. lol. but a chip is only available for the GT's. if he has a gl or lx he doesnt have that option.
its a full replacement of the stock ECU. which is the brain of the car. there are a ton of aftermarket ones such as the AEM ems, Simple digital systems, or even the popular megasquirt.
