  • lowering beater probe

    i wanna lower my beater because stock is always way to high should i cut the springs and stil not get camber wear? i dont want to buy springs its a waste and how easy do they come out some cars take so long because they werent meant to come out

    I wouldnt cut the springs. It can be dangerous if you dont know what your doing. The best thing to do is leave it at stock highth until you can get actual lowering springs.

      You want to lower your car but springs are a waste so you are going to cut the stockers? Please sir, step away from the car.

        I bought an mx-6 gt with cut springs. Oh sure it was slammed, and looked pretty. Every time you lift the wheel off the ground you end up spending twenty minutes making sure it goes back in place right. Not to mention you hit a bump and feel like your on a water bed. I wouldn't say it's dangerous, it's just annoying after a bit. Oh and expect your struts to go bad shortly there after.

          Do you get camber wear? Come cars do some don't I'm gonna see if these lowering springs from another car fit

              It's going to make the car handle extremely poorly, it's going to be rough, and if not done properly could very easily cause you to have an accident for a large variety of reasons.

              Either don't do it at all or buy the proper parts. It's really not worth it.
