Idles high what causes?

I put a different air intake on the airbox made it idle really bad like barley 500rpm now I got this ram intake an it idles at 2k what is making it do that?

Hey check it out, mine idles about 100 - 200 rpm too high when in park, drive or any other time it feels like it. There is no sign of it running rough, and it does this on a cold start or after driving around town for an hour. I have to put it in neutral when at stop lights because the car feels like it going to shake itself apart. Anything easy that I could think of so far was not the issue. Oh yeah, and mine is a 90 GL as well.

you probably have a vacuum leak. id go over it all again, and make sure everything is tight.
