well i have a 95 manual with intake,fuel flow modifier & test pipe.my friend has a 98 honda civic ex auto with intake,headers,exhaust,2-inch mid section,high flow cat & wires and i can smoke him his stock power is 127 and he and all the civic owners in town say that the 95 has 147 hp and i just laugh so what is the real base HP.

'95 Base/SE has 118HP.
I would assume these are why you can smoke him:
- you have 5-speed, he's got a crapomatic
- you have the low-end torque advantage for a good launch
