Diamond Piston Buyers... Please read!!!!

I was looking at my set of pistons and noticed that the offset marks were the same on all 6 pistons. This means my set was made for an inline 6 and not a V6.

I need each of you to check your set of pistons to see if you have the same problem.

Diamond has already asked me for the job numbers of all effected sets and they will remake the three from each set that are incorrect.

If you don't understand the offset I'm talking about... I'll add some pics later but I needed to get this info out there asap.

I believe all my pistons are the same.

The underside of all 6 of my pistons have "DRP 281B" casted into them. I visually checked them and the offset is the same on all pistons.

By the way I think you should PM everyone affected to ensure that they know this. I'm just happy I haven't started my build yet so it's no big deal with me.

I've already PM'd most of you, I just wanted to get this out there asap. I have to research the rest of the group and follow up with them.

This is a pain in the ass BUT in the end, those with three incorrect pistons will pretty much end up with three extra pistons... unless of course Diamond wants them back.

i bought mine off of janz99.. I looked at them and they have all the same numbers and r idenical... job number is 26793
