Howlett, you're nuts...but I like sacrificing all the creature comforts for speed, true hard core. I was gonna do this a while ago, but w/ the UR crank pulley, there is not a belt in the world made to fit...trust me, I checked forever and bought about 5 different belts. Better use Rain-X anti-fog on the inside of the windshield though, cause your defrost won't work for nothin.

a Dayco belt will fit- part # 315K5. I have one installed on my car right now w/ the UR UDP as well, just mess with the tensioner a little and it fits perfectly. Welcome back to the board Keith! For anyone who doesnt know, probaholic is mad old school. How's Vanessa?

i have a napa belt, i removed the a/c with the udp, and just went to napa and picked up a belt,

belts are universal as long as there the same rib,

                    yup, as long as it's a 31.5" 5 ribbed belt, it'll work.

                              Mike,
Thanks for the directions on this.
After finally getting the PGT on the ramps without body kit damage after 1 hour. I said while I'm changing the oil & filter, why not the AC removal and underbody light install while it's up for once.

Anyways, compressor and brackets are out and it's like 1:30 am.
So the line removal and condenser can wait till tommorrow.
I'm looking forward to more engine bay room and less weight.

Anything to make us in NPA! faster at the Grove.

Excellent write up! I pulled mine out yesterday, and sorry guys, a couple people already have dibs on the parts...

About the only trouble I had was the tensioner bolt was pretty rusted on. So it's no longer a 10mm, it's now a 3/8".

A couple bolts holding on the splash guard on the underside of the car lost a few bolt heads too. I just put some self-tapping screws in and all was good.

Part number was RIGHT on track for the belt... I originally called and asked if they had the belt, they were like "Nope, they don't make such a thing" Then I gave them the part #, and they were

                                Morons....

                                Thank ya kindly!

                                Kyzer: "NOOOOOOO!!! Shut down...."
