What you have is a curved neck ZE from a Mazda Eunos 800. They had a curved neck intake manifold, 10.5:1 compression pistons, KL31 heads and KL01 cams. The KL01 cams knock you down about 10-15 hp over a straight neck if I remember correctly! It is not a true ZE but close enough. If you were to change out the cams you would have a full KLZE. And the curved neck can be swapped out for a straight neck intake if you desire the straight one. You would be best checking out MX-3.com to see if you can find somebody to trade straight across on the intake. They need the curved neck manifolds to clear the brake master cylinder. So when one of them gets a straight neck the intake isn't of much use to them.
Success is a measure of determination!
