    feel your pain with the Haynes manual. Yea i missed the part for the green relay, had a geyser of gas shoot up about 3 seconds after pulling the top hose. Least the engine wasn't that hot.

On my 95 GT, that relay is in the engine bay fuse box -- the big green relay in the top right corner. Once the engine dies crank it a couple more times. There will still be low pressure spillage when the hoses are removed however.
      I am not much of one for Haynes Manuals. I only own the Ford Shop manuals. And I don't worry about draining fuel off. I just crack the line and a simple rag catches it. The rag goes outside in a barrel to preven accidental ignition.

        What kind of fuel pumps are you guys using, im getting ready to change mine very soon also BTW I have a 93 GT

                im not sure there is much aftermarket for fuel filters, i just used the stock replacement from autozone. they have two options and i just got the cheaper one
