    well ill be using this on my stock ECU but i also want it to be compatible with other systems (ill be going to a MOTEC soon). and there’s no point designing something that only just meets your needs, if MSD can work to 14,000rpm so will my circuit (even if it will never be utilized at that high rpm).

    oh and Linus Torvalds didnt give everyone all his information before it was anywhere near completion, so neither will i. come to think of it i better do some more testing on this tonight i got carried away making a rail gun today.

      If you are moving to motec why would you bother at all. Surely the top of the range EMS handles COP directly? MS does (yes, 6 pot on both ms1 and ms2), mine will (up to 12)...

        yes MOTEC handles COP directly but thats not the reason im doing this, im an electronics technician and its also my hobby so this is what i do in my free time (just one of many many projects)

          That applies to more than just open source, but there is such a thing as releasing too early as well.

            has anyone found cheap easy to find drop in cops that fit? mostly concerned with the rear head because of the manifold...
