  • ah its been months since I were here last.... and weeks since I drove my mx6 thanks to the PT email now I feel how warm this place is =]
    Had my very first time brief 3month dating experience.... ended up with "lets be friends for now"..... I was like O fK!!!?

    time to charge up the battery and fire her up for some E85 sniffing like the good old days, I'd never feel sad if I stuck to tuning.

    • Stock bottom KLDE
      shaved nissan red tops 550cc allegedly but never tested.
      base fuel pressure 40psi with 1-1 rising rate regulator
      cruising afr''s in the 17:1 +/- 1afr
      cruising temps between 195-209*f w/ fans running all the time
      oil temps at 160-190*f with absolutely no oil cooling
      +25mpg's cruising or 22mpg's with a few races in between
      AFR's under boost are in the 12's for the 12psi range and.....
      Afr's in the 11's for 14psi range
      91 0ctane
      33% methonal content mixed with distilled water 2 stage
      first comes on at 7psi and full blast at 12psi
      <50% duty cycle at full tilt for these injectors

      • you have balls of steel running those AFR & timings on 91octane + spray
        but damn those MPGs are good I only get half yours -_-!

        • my injector pulse width at idle and cruising is 2-2.5ms and that's not easy for ms1 to do so I can imagine with your injectors being twice as big, I would need ms3 right off the bat.

            • mac1, that's not too shabby at all... and I'm running Sergio's advice and still using simultaneous/ 2 squirts per cycle with my millenia "s" injectors. Averaging 21-25 MPG in city driving, highway still haven't tested yet. Running 14.7-15.5 AFR's during cruising.

              I'll post my tables up a bit later. But I'm only on 21* max for full boost at 7.5psi. No meth injection, no oil cooler, nothin' baby!

              Matt, I tried your map. I guess it's tuned for alternating/ 2 squirts per cycle.

              • yellow2point0, it shouldn't matter if you are simultaneous or alternating if you have your injector open time set corectly! I know sergio wrote that his milly s injectors were 0.78ms but mine have an open time of 0.88ms so you might want to check yours!

                • poissonn, were you using the same method as Sergio was talking about to figure it out? I'm wondering why the same 285cc injectors would have different opening/closing times.

                  Just the other day, Mike (xtremethings.com) and I were talking about finding out the batch firing wiring for the injectors from stock ecu for KL is...and to try wiring in that same firing order for us MS users without sequential capacity.

                  Anyone have thoughts on this? I'm sure the idle quality will increase dramatically

                    so how do I view it. It's downloaded but cant open it properly. I see it's a ms2 ver 3.2.1

                        • I got it downloaded but tried starting a new project and opening it up but still could't view it. it's code version 3.2.1 correct?

                            Yes, it can be made to work, just make sure it's got the right ignition settings for your mods. The base map is for MS2/Extra 3.2.1.

                            • I see a diffrence iny soak advance table.. I have spark load % not map load kpa... How do I change this over to map load kpa?
                              Mac one I like what i see with your tune! Reminds me of my stock ze on 14psi! Soon as in out and get some good seat time I'll be tuning to the edge like you. Thanks for the inspiration!
