v2.2 rpm test

While waiting on a stim to come in does anyone know of a way to test the rpm circuit on a v2.2 board? I have a stock vr sensor but I know without a conditioner the ms can't see it. Would a hei module convert it over for me to a square wave so it can see it.

hey 7 pin has outputs for a square wave. Or you could order a Hall effect ckp sensor from DIY.

Guess I could do that. The 7 pin is so expensive at AutoZone for just a test. Ill check the diy hall sensor that would kill the whole edis thing I'm doing

edis is just another thing to go wrong. But so is a VR conditioner though thats how i've done all my 2.2 boards.

you build or buy a vr conditioner?? It kinda hard to find info on them or maybe im looking wrong.

ordered all the parts from digikey and bought a peice of proto board from electronics store then it just slides into the lid of the MS case.
