True, but... nobody likes to see unecessary pressure drop either...

Yup, I get about the same. Depends a bit on the outside temp and how hot the car is though. The good news is the temps seem pretty much the same between 6 and 7 psi so I turned mine up to 7.

I am looking into a way for the MS to control a water injection setup so I don’t have to run an IC. The only problem is if you tune with water injection and you run out of water or something clogs then you are gonna be looking for a new motor. especially if you turned up the boost. I have a few ideas though, first I will use the windshield washer reservoir so I have a dummy light when the fluid gets low. Second I was thinking what if the fluid is fine but the solenoid or pump fails or the lines get clogged. Well the MS has programmable outputs So I will make one of the programmable out puts trigger a warning light when the intake temp gets above a certain temp. That should cover all the bases.

Now I just have to figure out how to control the injection. The easy way is just to have it inject at set boost level using one of the three programmable outputs. But I was reading a bit and I think some of the more expensive Water injection units inject based on rpm and boost. So I was thinking of having it follow the injectors or something. I am still researching.

Nice rail btw, make me one when your done

i know which one i'd rather have....

if you use a good quality IC and the right piping it should be fine...

exactly. i know some on here are trying to build a balls to the wall fast car, but i built mine to be a daily driver that would give the v-8 mustangs a hard time (which i'm proud to say, it does ). i don't mind sacrificing some power to run with an IC and rich on the 440's

it's all about what you want to do with your car

Given the proper R&D you won't have either...(blown motor or unecessary pressure drop)

this is very true.... but for most people, i'd recommend an IC to be on the safe side. not everyone is as good as some of the members here
