  • So that's it, that completes the build log for the monster, she is done.

I left the FMIC 'projections' sticking out of the lower rad. support in place (even though I no longer have the FMIC) because they would be a perfect place to hang ballast from - very far forward, and very low to the ground. 100lb of tungsten would do quite well for traction.

For single digit passes, it has the power, it has the gearing. It needs the axles, and more track time to tune (boost can be tuned any way possible using the APEXi AVC-R), and the suspension settings can be adjusted in any number of ways.

Wheelie bars would probably be another good option - the possibilities are endless.

The final weight of the car is 1950 lb wet.

Final numbers are ~600+ bhp, 450+ torque (lb-ft) @ 20 psi boost. Engine is built for ~800hp.

    • All I can say is WOW! It's a shame you need to get rid of it after all the time and effort you've put on that monster...but if it has to be, then so be it! Still, that's one of a hell accomplishement with all the engineering that went through that beast, it's far from any ebay turbo build!

      • That thing is just so bad-ass! Everything you have done seems to be top notch work and no shortcuts. I hope it ends up in good hands all in one piece and not parted apart around the world.

I have to get myself some of that spark plug love too, OEM plug wires and my IM just doesn't match at all. The plenum comes right above the plugs.

        • Dan,
I hope you will win in lottery or something similar so you don't have to sell the Frankenprobe. Too much knowledge and effort would be lost. Hopefully you'll get a way to save this car in your garage and have the best time with it trying to catch those single digits you mentioned.

From stock PGT into this, I bet it would take couple days to even list the work you've done. Pure awesomeness. I admire your skills!
