Hello, ProbeTalk!
My account was finally activated yesterday (why did it take three weeks??) so I can introduce myself and my car. Earlier this year I bought my first car, a 1996 Probe GT. When I saw the ad, I knew this was the one. An extremely clean and stock example, my favorite rims and taillights, one of the best colors, etc. So I contacted the owner and then went with my dad on the long drive to go see it. It had been sitting for over a year, but it started right up and ran perfect. Eventually we bought it and headed for home. Since I had never driven manual, my dad drove it and I followed. The car was not registered or insured and had no plates, but we made it through several hours of driving, when, of course, the local police spotted it and pulled my dad over. And this was at 2 am if I remember correctly, haha. He had the title and the bill of sale so there were no problems, but its kind of a funny story.
Anyway I feel like I'm rambling so I'll stop there. Feel free to ask me anything.
Here she is:
Only things not stock are the floormats and the radio.
