Another O/D ?

I have a 93 PGT ATX with O/D

Now atm the O/D is not functioning...hasn't since i bought the car. Which has only been a few months. Pulled the cluster apart yesterday to check the bulbs to see if they were burnt out....all good so my question is where do i start looking? Could it be somewhere below the shifter or something thats connected to the Tranny.

I'm not a mechanic but i am learning as i go. Really would like to figure this out. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I would check the o/d switch on the shifter.
