    That was the only meet I have ever been to. I've got probe fever lately with getting some work done.

    Sad note: Drove down to Muncie on Tuesday. Only saw 1 probe for the four hours of total driving

      Since you all seem to have at least some relation to Indy, anyone know where to get a good KLDE/KLZE locally? I just spun a bearing on the bottom end (haven't torn it apart yet but I'm betting the typical #6 oil starvation) of my 94 GT last week and am dreading another rebuild.

        I have a KLZE bottom end, but it's sitting in an Escort right now. Bearings took no damage when the head seized up, but i WOULD do a good kerosene/diesel flush to get the swarf in the oil remaining out.

        Probably doesn't help you if you need something quick, i have no idea when i'll have time to pull it.

            By ZE bottom end, do you mean a short block or a full motor with blown heads? Either way i might be interested. Only with a short block I'd be looking for a set of ZE heads and straight neck IM. IDK though, how do you feel about a ZE block with stock DE everything else?

              I am going to get something together for the summer. Just keep an eye out. I have been busy with injuries so it will happen just gotta get a few things nailed down.

                Heads are trash, and even in running form, this wasn't what most people would call a "full motor." I have a bottom end.

                The ZE heads aren't really anything worth creaming yourself over in the first place. I'd roll ZE bottom end, DE heads with ZE cams, and a G4 intake manifold for a nice little budget boost.

                  So what would you want for the bottom end? Seeing as you're so close, id be happy to come help ya pull it. I'm not in any big hurry but just talking about it makes me antsy to get some work done.

                          That would be my expectation as well, never know though. I saw a ZE in there once (just once) went back the next day to snag the IM and it was GONE, last few times i've been there any and all KL's and Probe's were pretty well picked over and not too many to pick from. For the 2$ to get in and take a peek, seems worth it, especially if I were to find a ZE again, pretty sure it's ~180$ for any V6

                            I don't mind coming out with the FD if the time is right, just got it tuned this spring

                                Any guys in the indy area should check their schedules for August 16th now, for a Columbus meet if they are interested. This thread seems to have died down
