Got a test drive going on today after work, much excited



Okay I really wanted this to be another post but what the hey... so I go after work down to test drive a 02 WRX 96k miles I get there and I had someone come with me. This thing is beautiful, paint looks incredibly shiny. I look inside and notice this thing is not stock at all we got tons of gauges in the center (af ratio, boost, and another one I can't recall) I look down at the drivers seat which is different from the rest, it's some kind of cloth APC racing seat (nice!). Then we look under the hood it's got an aftermarket blow off valve, turboxs intercooler, intake looked like injun, the exhaust was gigantic probably 4" bomb muffler, 17" wrx rims from a newer year with brand new Michelin tires. So I decide to go ahead and take a test drive, was super nice didn't really take it higher than about 55 but man it was quick. The only problem I had with it was the clutch was heavy as crap couldn't get used to it. I drive it back and we talk with the guy inside he seems super nice was actually gonna give me it lower than what he said on clist. He said whoever had it before probably raced it, he bought it at auction, because they took the a/c belt off and that he would put a new one on tomorrow. Also it had been in a minor fender bender and the right side had a new quarter panel and new headlight (paint still looked fantastic all over). They offer warranties from another company in Cali not sure on the prices yet haven't looked at them yet but overall it wasn't what I was expecting, fast car but that clutch must be aftermarket, or that clutch is worn to nothing. I told him I'd like a few days to think it over but even if I don't get this I might test drive one of the many other really nice cars he's got in the lot.
