I'm currently looking for a 2nd Gen RX-7 or 1st Gen Miata. It won't be until after the wedding that I can actually get one. But I've already been greenlighted by the lady to take $2,011 from the wedding money we get for the contest.

If I can find a good FC or Miata in time I will also look for a DSM or cheap 2nd gen PGT. Would prefer the RX-7 or Miata though. I won't have a lot of time to really get it prepped for drag, so my time will be spent mostly preparing it for AutoX and Concourse.

I have been thinking about doing this with the v6/5spd out of a camaro but haven't fully talked myself into it yet.

Wonder if the 3800 supercharger will fit under the hood???

Knowing me I should start this year! Just have to find a place to put both project cars and see if I can deduct enough of the parts I sold to have enough to run under the budget... If not I'll just think about buyig a cheap $500 pgt shell

The whole point of the challenge is to build fast cars for cheap. Hence a probe shell and a v6/5spd from a camaro and minimal bodywork.

Crusty has more money in suspension sitting on the floor than the challenge would allow me to spend on the entire contest! He isnt the cheap car.
