Honestly if yours didnt have a chunk-o-door missing or take premium gas I would think about it.

Hand-built
American
6spd
RWD
Convertable

I haven't put premium in it for a couple of years now and all is well. And the door corner isn't missing, it's just bent. I forgot about it until you mentioned it just now haha.

Oh no way. Foxes are like my least liked mustang ever. Close tie with the late 70s junk! And you know I hate buying other people's projects.

Nah. I looked at them first when I was debating between GT500 and ZR1s but I just couldn't bring myself to spend that for what it was. The viper just has a much better presence in my opinion. Plus I couldn't get a Z06 in a Convertable (which I wanted) so I didn't want to get basically a base model just to have the roof come off and be slower than the car I drive to work every day.
