How's everyone doing? Just put in my notice to quit my job after 10 years working there. Actually when I first started I still had the probe and went to Myrtle Madness 9 and 10. It's going to be quite the change but the pay increase and less stressfulness is worth it for sure.

That and it will also make it easier to get a newer vehicle as I used to work lots of nights, weekends, and travel about 10%

It's IT related for a government contractor. I've done that my entire career. This job just seems more suited for me, more pay, better hours, they cross-train you, seems less stressful (I'm doing 4 peoples jobs right now). The hours are very flexible too. Plus I'm into cycling a lot and some of the guys in the office go out on group rides a lot.

I couldn't pass it up.

Yep. It's a boring last week though. I'm sitting here looking at new cars I can put a downpayment on after I cash out my PTO.
