Daylin, the bf and I drove a buddy's '03 WRX this weekend. We both agreed that it felt underpowered (granted there were 4 people in the car, but still). STi ftw, fo sho.

Yeah it does in a way, but there's many factors as to why, I think personally with a larger turbo and a nice tune they are perfectly fine and doesn't feel "underpowered" at all. He might like a 06-07 wrx with the 2.5 as it has more lowend And you guys might want to look at insurance rates on the STI as they are quite a bit higher

I dunno, for me it's fine but I don't run redline at every redlight and I'm more upgraded than just a stock one But truthfully I really like these cars, nothing beats the sound of those exhuasts that I can afford Would love to have a sti though, mostly for the 6spd.
