New to area

so i just moved down here to fort campbell ky/ clarksville tn area and am tryin to meet some people down here and also get some repairs done to my car, im not a mechanic so i don't know what is wrong, it's right front suspension or driveline tho. i posted on KYPO as well seein as how im on the border of both these states...any help would be greatly appreciated

yea it gets a little confusing as to where im at, and i didn't know which poc had any members closer to me. just tryin to find places to go on the weekends and figured here'd be a good place to start

well we all like to try to get together on the wkends and hang out an dwhat not. there's a big hang out spot that everyone in knoxville goes to on sat night and there's everything from honduhs to supras that show and hang out. also if i gets just right we usally see some racing. all and all it's an alright thing to do on sat if u don't have anything to do and ur broke.

not sure what all goes on down there, but i know there's a couple members down in that area somewhat and one makes several trips up time to time.

Welcome! I'd venture to say that most of the activity in the TNPOC sub forum comes from the east TN guys but there are a few in Middle TN. As for meets I *think* they still have the Import Alliance meets every once in a while in Nashville and I remember Saturday nights they used to meet up at the Stadium in Nashville...I may be wrong because that was a few years ago. I'd jump on tennesseespeed.net or tennespeed.net and see where they hang out as they seem to be more located in Central TN. Either way we usually have a few TNPOC meets over here in Knoxville, it'd be awesome if you could make it to one!

Wow, im a slap-ass. I completely missed this thread. Welcome! Meets this year were kinda sparse but next year we are hoping to have several good ones and maybe even a mod-meet or two.

LOL! Yea there are a bunch of H-badged vehicles at the alliance meets...lately I heard they had a few DSM's and other stuffs too though so I suggested it. It's been a long time since i lived out there lol!

if anyone can do mechanical work please lemme know, i need crank and cam seals replaced along with timing belt and water pump...and let me know who much to do it and if it could be a day or weekend thing...i also still have my suspension/driveline issue but not top concern right now. my car is using as much oil as it does gas...local shop is sayin around 750-800 for parts and labor on just gaskets/seals and timingbelt/h20pump. and if anyone has a d/s side skirt for the 1/4 panel i need one of those too...
