Hi like a lot of us SE owners know the ECU will shut down the fuel pump at 113 MPH so Does anyone know how to disengage this feature on the 4 Cyl Probes?

Well I would like to know this also. Isn't there a wire on the back of the guage cluster that sends that signal to the ECu and then cuts the fuel. Couldn't you just cut that wire from the cluster. I thought that I read that somewhere.

I think what your talking about is the Red Wire with the White Stipe, but I have never heard success of that temptation

For me, I wouldn't do it because there is not really any sence in going that fast, I went to the top speed once just to know how fast I could go, but the only risk your going for if you go faster is that you will lose to driver's liscence or a bunch or points. Even with my Redar, I don't want to try it again.

Well I am putting N2O in my car and I just didn't want the fuel to cut out if I did run faster that 110mph in the 1/4 mile. Thats the main reason that I am asking. Any ideas of what to do then?

Well Guys I found out that there's only one wire that will do if you are doing it from the gauge cluster there are two connectors on the back on the one on the left there's a green wire with a light red stripe this wire sends te speed to the ECU but also is the one that sends the speed to the cruise control unit so if you do this and your SE has cruise control by disableing the spped limiter you will also disable the cuise control, my SE doesn't have cruise control or power locks or power windows or power seats so I don't have to worry and I tested my car after and I was able to reach 120 MPH and it's not that I drive this fast every day but like Soccer I wanna be able to have my ride with no limits and to make it better for that 1/4 time

What year SE 4cyl do you have? Just want to see if the wires are the same. Also do you think that if you have an aftermarket cruise that this would affect it? I will have to try this. So its green with a pink stripe (light red would be pink to me)? Does anyone know about the aftermarket cruise being affected?

I'd like to have the 2.0 that is in your car if you are worried about hitting the fuel cut off in a quarter.

And yes there are actually a few ways I have found that you can get rid of the fuel shut off. There is two wires on the cluster and one in the fuel pump harness. Mine also kill my cruise control I think. I didnt use my cruise for a good month after I did this. My wire was dark green with a pinkish-orangish stripe. There is also a wire at the ecu but I have yet to get a schematic to find out which one.

Funny thing is I havent gone over the speed limiter since I did this. I did right after I did it to see if it worked, hit 120 and let off. Since then I doubt I have hit 90.
