  • Manual override on headlights

Hi all. My headlights are not flipping up on my car and I'm stuck at my brother's tonight. I left my manual at my house. Does anyone know if and where a switch/button is for manually flipping them up for now?

? Check the 15A fuse under the hood, it'll be a 15A I believe... it'll be labeled "RETRA". Also do you have a button on the panel? [where the rear window defrost is] there's a button for that on some models. If not then pop your hood and check around the headlight area, there will be a knob that you can manually lower/raise your lights w/

        Fuses for headlights

Thanx, I did replace the 15A fuse in the panel inside the car. I also had to change the 30A fuse in the box under the hood. (happened two weeks ago). I replaced the 30A twice. Seems to burn out so i'm getting the wires checked. I found a knob on each side of the headlights tonight. But those don't seem to want to turn either. Thanks though!

There should be dust covers over the actual knobs that need to be turned. Just pull them off and the turn the knobs until the headlights are all the way up. They will probably need to be turned 25 turns or so.
