First of all take your door panel off.
(If you can't do this then your best off leaving this kind of maintanance to the pros)

Flip over the door panel and remove the control modual by unscrewing the 2 screws above and below the modual.

Now on the back of this part there is a hole and in that hole is a small black circular plug with a slot in it. This is the back of the light bulb.

Insert a flat head screwdriver into the slot and turn it a quarter circle counterclockwise.
This will free the bulb and socket

After I removed the "blue condom" as it's been called. I can see that my bulb here is very much burnt out.

Tommrow I'll go to a Radio Shack and see if they have a bulb that will fit this socket for me.
