  • Code 17 and 24- heated O2?

The light on my '93 GT comes and goes intermittently. I checked the codes last night and got 17 and 24.

According to the diagnostic section at Performance Probe, both are hO2 codes. What it doesn't tell me is what bank it is.

Are both these codes for one sensor? PP.com lists 4x heated O2 codes, but as far as I know, the car only has 2 O2 sensors, and thats why I don't know what to make of these codes.

    Thanks guys.

So what are the 4 codes meanings then?

      15 17 24 25

I assume 15/17 are front and 24/25 are rear?

Thanks, I'll make sure they are both hooked up.. maybe one got disconected during the tranny swap...

I'll try a pair of spares... Thanks...

So does anyone know what this "rear o2 sensor inversion error" I keep hoping it's something simple like we plugged it in backwards

        Wouldn't that be nice [*grin*]
