OK so the parts service departments at ford and mazda have no clue what the "friction gear spring" is and i have no idea what im looking at. The only thing i got from them was a full breakdown picture sheet of every part on and around the cams but nothing that looks like a spring?? i assume it looks like a washer. Maybe someone could post a pic of this? or an exact part number from ford or mazda? any part numbers on search came up wrong. oh and which of the 4 cams have it to be changed.?
