  • Federal Spark Plug Wires - Any Good?

This is the 3rd set of wires for this 1994 626 that is on its way out.
Should I expect Federal wires to be any good, they are cheap at Rock Auto?
I'd like to get more than a year or two out of them.

Car gives no codes, but sputters up to about 3000, then seems better.
    Runs better cold.

Plugs are new, just changed O2 sensors, it ran better with the bad ones.
    Still need to check timing.

      Thanks, Will do.

I don't think there is any issue with the IAC, but is there any simple way to spray some carb cleaner in there as a quick cleaning, or is the dirt on the coolant side?

Tried the Federal wires and they are total crap, ran them for 2 hours, stopped at home pulled the front ones out to check for oil and one came apart. The plastic end stayed in the spark plug hole and the wire pulled out of it. I tried these under a different name before and they are total complete junk.
        OK, NGKs next.

I had the same experience with the 'Performance' PRD wires sold. And even a set of 8mm Magnacores.
